Inspired by the self-portraits of famous painters, this is a series of five figures composed of rubbish and industrial waste.

In the original self-portraits, the painters look sharply at the viewer and appear almost unruly. In this work, I have drawn these painters to appear as if they are observing the world around them as if they were gangsters made of modern-day artefacts.
