Compared to where I was born and raised, the nights in the area where I live today are significantly darker. Streetlights are also very sparse. I feel that because that is so, each light plays an important role. People feel a sense of comfort and ease when they see streetlights at night, and I sought to recreate that sense of security that light in the night time brings people.
