This work was inspired by the dynamic movements of growing plants.

Plants move slowly, so at first glance it may appear as though plants stand quietly. But take a look at the daily changes in the curvature of the stems and the leaves and the orientation and shape of the flowers, and you will see that plants are in constant movement, 24 hours a day.

The surprise and interest I felt when I realised that plants 'move' just like animals and humans do inspired me to begin creating art.

In Dance, I especially wanted to express the movement of life felt amidst its stillness. I used the motif of anemones, which symbolise this dance-like movement of growth.
